FIBA3x3 World Cup 2026 Women – The Most Interesting Players

Here are four players whose play is a real treat for the eyes, and not just for casual fans.
Klaudia Papp (30 years old, 168 cm) – Hungary
Fast, agile, clever, competitive, and always smiling. Klaudia Papp is the best thing to happen to Hungary since the invention of goulash. Born in our favorite city, Debrecen, she has a lightning-quick first step, excellent court vision, and a high basketball IQ. She makes up for her lack of height with tenacious defense and the ability to anticipate her opponents’ moves. She is considered one of the best at reading the pick-and-roll under the pressure of the 12-second shot clock. She’s also a great passer, having learned the craft while playing at the highest level in 5×5 (EuroCup and EuroLeague). This could be her tournament.

Arica Carter (29 yo, 173 cm) – Azerbaijan
A dynamite woman wearing the best jersey number imaginable and with one of the best basketball names on it. Take a look how she outplayed the Americans, always the favorites, not too long ago. The 2026 Champions Cup semifinal is likely to be the game of her life in 3×3:
Carter is a graduate of the elite NCAA program—the Louisville Cardinals (2014–2019)—with whom she reached the Final Four in 2018. Her talent caught the attention of scouts across the Atlantic—in the 2019 WNBA Draft, she was selected 32nd overall by the Phoenix Mercury, where she played in six official games. She plays exceptionally well off the ball, and the higher the stakes of the game, the more willing she is to take the game-winning shots. A medal for the Azerbaijan team in Warsaw would be no surprise at all.
Khulan Onolbaatar (26 yo, 180 cm) – Mongolia
As a host we have a score to settle with this lady—a fairly recent one, from just a year ago. The Mongolian team she led defeated the Polish team in the semifinals of the 2025 World Cup. By a single point! But back then, they were playing at home.
Khulan is a true global star and an icon of Mongolian 3x3 basketball. She is a versatile player who combines long-range shooting with strong play on the boards. Her successes have sparked a real boom in 3x3 basketball in Mongolia, especially among girls. Our beloved sport is the national sport in this country. Don’t believe it? How about the fact that during the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics, she made history as the first woman to be entrusted with the role of flag bearer for the Mongolian national team? Her team will play in the toughest group at the World Cup—they could be eliminated very early, or they could go all the way…
Kacie Bosch (29 yo, 175 cm) – Canada
A whirlwind of hair, a fire on the court. She impresses with her stamina, determination, defensive intelligence and excellent decision-making on offense. She already has two Women’s Series titles under her belt. She also won two World Championship medals—but she’s still missing the gold. A former college player in the U.S. at Gonzaga University (NCAA Division I), she reached the Sweet Sixteen as a freshman in 2015.
